Excellent service. I needed a health certificate for my dog, in order to travel. Most vets could not fit me in in short notice (nor did they make an effort, not even the vet I was registered with), but Chantry went the extra mile and I am grateful for this. Special thanks to Dr Nordmann who was really lovely, helpful and patient, exactly the kind of person who should treat animals:).

I am especially impressed with Chantry Vets accounts division. Strange? The vets always treat the animals with the best of care. Nothing has been too much trouble this last time. I was given time and full explanations of what has happened. More to the point, their accounts staff - Emily in particular fought my corner with the insurance company and won!!

Used this practice for many years. I have tried others too but most regularly use chantry alverthorpe due to the emergency clinic, ease of commute and rapid service.The staff are welcoming, compassionate and take your concerns seriously. I have always been offered appointments the same or the next day. The prices are about average, and they are always willing to offer treatments to suit your budget.

Just like the Normanton branch, they’re very friendly too! Not that I expect them not to be. We took our cat to them for an op and everyone from the reception to the vets were so nice to him, couldn’t say a bad word at all.He came home like an absolute nutter after he’d slept off the anesthetiser, we couldn’t see he was in pain but he must have been and now he much happier all thanks to chantry vets, thank you :)
