As a service to our registered clients we are happy to see your pet out of hours in the event of an emergency.

In the event of an emergency call straight away to talk to us.

Pass on as much information as possible so that we can make an accurate assessment of your pet’s situation and give you guidance on what to do next.

If your pet requires an appointment, this will be at our Brindley Way Hospital where we have full medical and surgical facilities. An Emergency Consultation fee will apply.

We may feel it appropriate to hospitalise your pet at our Brindley Way Hospital. This will allow us to provide the best possible treatment for your pet in a safe and comfortable environment.

  • 12am-7.30am Monday to Friday
  • 6pm-8am Saturday and Sunday.

Leeds Emergency Vets will transfer all medical records to us the following morning to ensure our vets are fully informed with regards to your pet’s treatment.  The care of your pet will automatically transfer to us once our Practice re opens at 8am.  We will arrange for the transfer of your pet from Morley to our main Hospital at Brindley Way, until they are fit to be discharged.

Hello, I’m Juan and I work regular night duties at the Brindley Way Hospital.  I qualified from the University of Cordoba, Spain in 1999 and have worked in several hospitals and emergency settings in the UK and Spain, since then.  I particularly enjoy Emergency and Critical Care cases and working with close-knit teams.  I spend my time between the UK and my home in Spain, which I share with my wife and three children.

I am happy to provide consultations in Spanish also where required, helping to serve our diverse local community.

Hello, I’m Mateusz and I graduated from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin in 2018.  I am currently working towards a Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care from the Liverpool University.   I work from the Brindley Way Hospital as a permanent Night Vet, caring for your pet’s urgent and emergency needs.

I am happy to provide consulations in Polish where required, helping to serve our diverse local community.

Hi, my name is Eliis and I joined Chantry Vets as an Apprentice Nurse in 2021.  I have previously completed a level 3 Diploma in Animal Management at Askham Bryan College.  I passed my final exams to qualify as a Veterinary Nurse in 2025 and have since moved into a full night nurse/ECC role.  At home I have many pets including 4 dogs.  I enjoy competing in dog agility competitions in my spare time.  I am also fluent in Swedish and Estonian, and can assist with translating consultations where required.

Hi, I’m Becki and I qualified as a RVN in 2015.  I have previously worked in first opinion and referral practice, with the last few years being exclusively within night and emergency work.  I joined Chantry as one of the permanent night nurses at the Brindley Way Hospital in 2024.  I am currently studying towards the ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Chip and Dru.
