MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8PM UNTIL 12 MIDNIGHT

As a service to our registered clients we are happy to see your pet out of hours in the event of an emergency.

In the event of an emergency call straight away to talk to us.

Pass on as much information as possible so that we can make an accurate assessment of your pet’s situation and give you guidance on what to do next.

We may feel it appropriate to hospitalise your pet at our Alverthorpe Hospital. This will allow us to provide the best possible treatment for your pet in a safe and comfortable environment.

Chantry’s Emergency Team

Emma Copley RVN DipAVN(SA) HECVN CertVNECCHello, I’m Emma.  I started working in veterinary practice in 1997 as a pre-veterinary nurse student.  I gained my Veterinary Nurse qualification in 2002 and my Advanced Nursing Diploma in 2012.  I also hold a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care.  Over the years I have held different nursing roles as consulting nurse, senior surgical nurse and for the last 5 years, night nurse.  One of the most rewarding parts of the job for me is working with emergency cases.  In my free time I enjoy reading, baking and competing with my dogs.  I currently live with 3 golden retrievers, 1 cat and 5 tortoises.

Sue Rodgers RVN
My name is Sue, I have been a Veterinary Nurse for nearly 20 years (qualified for nearly 17 years). I work as the night nurse and particularly enjoy inpatient care and emergencies. Most of my spare time is spent running around after my 3 slightly crazy children and I have recently started doing dance classes.
