BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT

Losing a pet for whatever reason can be a very difficult experience. At Chantry Vets we have a special bond with our patients and clients and empathise profoundly when it is time to say goodbye.

We aim to offer as much comfort and support as possible to our grieving clients. Many of our staff undertake pet bereavement training to help as many people as possible come to terms with their loss.

If you are finding it difficult to cope or would like further information such as helping a mourning child, we recommend contacting the Pet Bereavement Support Service (PBSS).0800 096 6606 8.30am-8.30pm 7 days a week or email This email address is being protected from spambots. The Ralph Site (www.theralphsite.com) also offers support on pet bereavement and advice on coming to terms with your loss both emotionally and physically.
